The book 'A Man on the Moon' by Andrew Chaikin is based on interviews will all the Gemini/Mercury/Apollo astronauts, including the later Apollo missions that we hear less about but that spent WAY more time on the moon than Apollo 11, and explored it way farther with buggies and such... Great book, I highly recommend it!
