If you leave the grass behind it helps to cut it before it gets too high - the clumps are kinda ugly. I am so happy electric mowers are so good now. But I also wonder why we have so much grass. There are acres and acres of it around that could just as easily be left wild and cut back once or twice a year (you need a tractor or brush hog). If an alien came down and saw all the constant mowing they would have to scratch whatever they have for a "head."

Yeah, if you have like a field that you let grow until it's super tall, it's probably a bit more obvious and the cuttings will stick around a long time... But most people with regular suburban houses never get to that point.

Agreed on the obsession with lawns...

And 10,000% agreed on electric everything (cars, trucks, grass trimmers, etc). Can't wait until there are very few ICEs left around.

Great post, once again. (I've always said to leave the grass cuttings ... but no one ever listened...)

Ah, had to read it twice to make sure you intended the comma between 'O'Shaughnessy' and 'Only Fans'.

Here're some Rogan theories: (1) he wanted 'to pay' someone to handle the back-end. (2) he wanted to 'be the one' that brought people to Spotify. (3) he wanted to be perceived as a trailblazer, (4) etc.

Kudos to the Verge for the analysis, kinda clever to track Twitter followers.
