I have seen people use the name "death-less meat" Not an eye-catching name I know. But much better than "green meat". We need a Steve Jobs of lab-grown meat to light the world on fire.

"In school, you learn on someone else's schedule because you have to to pass a test, so you do whatever you have to to get that grade, but may not truly learn much, understand, or retain for long. A lot of it is more about “guessing the teacher’s password” than learning something well enough that you could teach it to someone else who doesn’t know it."

As someone who spent a quarter-century teaching finance classes, this was always a big hurdle. There were a few students who would buy in to the concept, but most (and I was the same way when I was in their shoes, so not criticizing) recognize that their GPA is essential for scholarships, job offers, grad school, etc. Learning for grades and learning because you want to understand something are two very different things. Now we need to figure out how to motivate for the latter.
