100% agree on sleep. It's so important. I have an algorithm of sorts to help me decide what to do if I'm unsure. First is sleep; go back to bed/sleep in/nap if you need it. Second is exercise.
Another thing I think about is when meetings happen. Many non-profit board meetings are in the evening. Are there systemic negative consequences to making decisions when you're tired/decision-fatigued. I'm guessing it's not trivial.

I'm sure it has a huge impact!
I know the military has done all kinds of studies on decision-making under lack of sleep, and the results aren't pretty..
