Not sure how I feel about audio and video embeds. When I’m reading I’m usually in a zone with music on, and I’ll stash videos or audio away to get to later in my YT cue or podcast player. When it’s embedded I usually just don’t bother.

Thanks for the feedback, Geoff!

I certainly don't plan to use that stuff all the time, so it will probably be fairly rare, but taking this into account, I'll do my best to provide enough text context around it so that you and others know if it's just a little random musing or if it's a big important thing, so that you can more easily decide if you want to skip it or not.

On one hand, I know it's a bit of a pain to have the context switching, but on the other, I feel like once in a while, it'll be the best medium to do certain things that wouldn't work as well either as text or as a full-length podcast, so I feel like there's some value in keeping the option and experimenting with it.

In any case, thanks for the comment, I appreciate it! 💚 🥃

Part of the reason for increased traffic fatalties is that the vehicles are much larger. i.e. a pedestrian isn't hit on the legs but in the torso. Also, speed. and more. well... and poor city design. :)

Definitely. But I wonder how much of that has changed in the past few years? Seems like a much longer-term trend 🤔
