Looking forward to your knife selection! I just recently bought the Shun Santoku and Utility knives. I love them; they feel great in the hand and Shun backs up their products with lifetime sharpenings should they chip or get damaged.

Nice! Did you get european or japanese style handle? Stainless or carbon steel blade?

I got the Shun classic series with Damascus steel. They have a D-shaped handle that feels great for right-handed work.
