Late to reading this, but I've also been supplementing with Vit. D for a while, and had my blood levels tested twice. The first was before doing much of anything, and showed I was low. So I started taking 2000 IU/d for a year of the dry tablets. Barely moved the needle. Been taking 3-4000 IU/d of liquid drops for the last year and covid interrupted my physical to check if that helped. Just an anecdote, of course, but it's cheap and safe and probably a good thing.

It is also presumed that Kiribati will be the first country completely lost to rising sea levels, and it's a beautiful country at that. Anyone at all interested in it (based on its natural beauty, its unique culture, its history, anything) should make the time to see it soon. And anyone not interested probably would be if they learn a bit about it
